Willow Creek Ranch Wedding & Event Venue at 11233 County Road 233, Arp, Texas.

I loved my wedding but the owners made it unbelievably stressful. From the rehearsal to the wedding day it was a nightmare with them. They were hard to work with. Very rude majority of the time. I had alcohol at my wedding. We had to hire two police officers (which was fine). We decided to end the reception early. Mainly due to the venue owners being rude to my guests. I started cleaning up around 9pm. Paid for the venue until midnight. Well when we started cleaning up the owner sent the police officers home. I still had family and friends drinking while we were picking up. The owner came outside and yelled "you need to get off my property if you are going to drink, the police have already left". For one, the police weren't hired by her to send home early. I paid them $35 an hour and she practically screwed me out of that money for those extra 3 hours. We planned on sitting around for a couple hours afterwards to enjoy ourselves and not have money wasted but they practically shoved us out the door. At the wedding we also did a sparkler send off. The owner told my grandmother "if you have a sparkler get away from my building before you burn it down" the sparkler my grandmother had was not even lit. At the rehearsal they over stepped my wedding coordinator. Telling the wedding party what to do. As soon as I walked up they were telling my wedding party "you need to line up, you get an hour and that's it to rehearse". Every ten minutes they were in my ear telling me how much time I had left to rehearse. It was extremely rude and unprofessional. They were rude about when we could decorate on the day of the wedding and weren't that willing to negotiate with me on the time I could come to do it. she finally caved and said "if you go over time and don't leave when you are suppose to you will be charged extra". There wasn't another wedding on the day of my wedding obviously but they wouldn't let us come and decorate all day. We had from 8am-10am to decorate and couldn't be back in the venue until 4pm. My wedding started at 6pm. So I'm sure you can see how stressful that can be. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone else. I don't regret my wedding but I definitely could have done without the extra nonsense on that day.
